This ERC info session is organised by the National Contact Points (NCPs) for ERC in Belgium (NCP Belspo – Eurofed, NCP-FNRS, NCP Flanders) to help applicants in the preparation of their ERC Advanced Grant proposal.
The ERC Advanced Grant call 2020 will be the last one under Horizon 2020, as a new framework programme for research and innovation will be launched in 2021: Horizon Europe (more information on ERC in Horizon Europe). The opening of the ERC AdG call 2020 is expected in May 2020 (indicative opening date: 14/05/2020) with a deadline on August 26.
The call will be open to established, leading researchers of any nationality and from any field of research (bottom-up approach), with a track-record of significant research achievements in the last 10 years. There is no minimum or maximum age limit. The amount of the grant is up to € 2.5 million for 5 years (or up to €3.5 million in specific cases). More information on ERC Advanced Grants.
Participation to the session is free and open to any researcher wishing to apply with a Belgian Host Institution, or any staff member of a Belgian Host Institution. Registration is mandatory, before February 13.
